Dad Adopts 3 “Unwanted” Dogs And Takes Them On Epic Adventures.

Bonnie, Bella, and Bolt didn’t know where they belonged until they came to live with Tim Livesey in Henderson, Nevada.

The three Australian cattle dogs all know what it feels like to be unwanted. But together, they couldn’t be happier or more perfect for each other.

Tim has a soft spot for dogs others deem undesirable. His oldest, 7-year-old Bella, was abandoned in a cardboard box as a puppy. Bolt, 2, came from a breeder who had no use for him, as he was born with a broken tail. And 3-year-old Bonnie, the newest addition, is deaf. Her owner gave her away. But their loss was Tim’s gain.

Not only do the adorable goggle-wearing pups make the perfect adventure buddies, but they look out for each other. After Bonnie joined the pack earlier this year, a coyote sneaked up behind her while the foursome was hiking. Bolt and Bella chased it away.

“Bonnie had no idea the coyote was there,” Tim told Today. “He took off running. I called the dogs back and everything was fine. I was like, ‘OK, they’re her protection ears.’”

Today, the three, known on Instagram as “Beauties and the Bolt,” are living their best lives. They go on walks together every day with evening hikes sprinkled in. On weekends, they camp or climb mountains like Charleston Peak. Whatever the adventure, they always wear goggles to protect their eyes from the sun as well as cactus spines. Bonnie needed time to get used to them, but with Tim’s training and her siblings showing her the ropes, she took to them quickly.

Because the dogs’ safety is Tim’s biggest priority, he also fitted Bonnie with a vest that reads “Deaf Puppy” and a vibrating collar in case he needs to get her attention. And Bonnie doesn’t seem to mind at all! She’s just happy to be with Bolt and Bella, where she belongs.

Could this trio be any cuter? We’re so happy they found each other and that Tim gave them the loving home they needed. So much for unwanted!
